About layers pt. 2

A user on a paranormal forum wrote in 2006:

"For a long time, sometimes there was a little snow globe on my porch that's absolutely not mine! It has my car in it, something I've never seen in a snow globe. I just know those with a house or a snow man or maybe some kids ice skating. But a car... my car? At first I thought it might be a giveaway from the car brand, but I don't believe that anymore. At first I also thought someone pulled a doorbell prank and forgot it there, and one time it was gone, so I just shrugged it off. Then it reappeared in the little outside closet where we keep our outdoor shoes. I got angry because it's one thing to pull a prank and put something on the porch, but it's another to open my furniture. I tossed it in the trash and thought that was the end of it. A few weeks later I had forgotten about it until it appeared on my kitchen windowsill. That scared me, because it meant whoever was pulling that prank was going through my trash AND had access to the house. I bought new locks for the doors and windows and decided to leave it there to have an eye on it. One morning it was gone again. I asked my wife and my kids, they had no idea what I was talking about. That made me think maybe it was the kids pulling off the prank, so next time it reappeared I put it in the safe only I know the combination of. I checked it every morning. It became a routine first, then an obsession when I found it sometimes gone. I would interrupt whatever I was doing to check the safe. I would come home from work during my lunch breaks to check. Then I began staying at home instead of going to baseball matches with the boys. Eventually I stopped going to work. Pretended I was sick. I didn't leave the bedroom anymore so I could check the safe every other minute. Sometimes the snow globe was there, sometimes it was gone, but I never managed to see the process of "going". Until that one faithful evening. It was June 25, I will never forget it. My wife was still at work, and I opened the safe to find the orb transparent. Not just the glass, the entire thing. I stumbled back. In that moment, my youngest son, who sometimes still sleeps in our bed, comes in and sees the open safe. "Oh, there it is," he says, giggling, although earlier he had claimed not to know about it. Before I can hold him, he runs towards the safe, grabs the snow globe AND DISAPPEARS WITH IT. I ran after him, of course, squeezed myself into the safe, but he was gone. I never told my wife, or anyone, what really happened."

What this user experienced was likely a rip in the layers of his and another reality. Depending on how big these rips are, objects can move through them, and drag attached objects with them. You'll learn next week how that's possible.
